OUR JOURNEY

CELTEC (Centre for Emerging Leading Edge Technology Empowering Change) in Co. Kildare is a facility focused on advanced manufacturing and technical education. It offers specialised training in areas such as robotics, industrial systems, additive manufacturing, and Industry 5.0 technologies.

 

The centre emphasises hands-on learning through state-of-the-art equipment, including cobotics, and virtual reality systems, fosting expertise in areas like precision engineering and pharmaceutical processes.

The facility includes modern classrooms equipped with multimedia learning tools and advanced laboratories for engineering and industrial training.

 

CELTEC is part of Kildare Wicklow Education and Training Board's (KWETB) initiatives and provides skills development programs tailored for employment and unemployed in technical and manufacturing roles.

 

Courses often integrate classroom instruction with online, blended, and immersive learning technologies.

Our Journey So Far

2015

MANUFACTURING CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE IS FOUNDED

The centre was opened, offering traineeships in Manufacturing Technican training, focusing on the unemployed and those who were interested in changing their career in the advanced manufacturing space.

2017

PNEUMATICS

The centre offered it's first traineeship in Pneumatics. The centre expanded to open it's own dedicated Pneumatics Lab.
